Dorm Tour – Sophomore Year

Hi, friends! I’m finally back to the blogging grind and I thought I’d begin with a dorm tour. I’m currently in my sophomore year of college as a business student and my favorite thing to do after a long day of statistics or accounting is to relax at my dorm. This year’s dorm is pretty similar to my Dorm Tour from last year, except this one just has a few upgrades.

Over the summer, I searched all over the internet for an affordable bolster pillow and never found one. About two weeks before school started back, I just decided to make my own (with the help of one of my mom’s closest friends of course). I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out and will definitely be making another in the future.

I also wanted to change the wall decor above my bed. I found this painting on Pinterest and fell in love with the colors, so I decided to paint my own. Behind this painting, I have two others that I did over the summer just in case I want to change things up.

I have so many bags that I can’t just cram them in my closet, so I leave my bigger ones out on display. The tote on my dresser is used when I dress up for class and the straw tote houses my art supplies at the moment.

The desk area is probably my favorite part of my room. I enjoy having my own little library of books to choose from every night. A “Books I’m Reading” post will be coming soon!

These are the pictures that were hanging above my bed last year. I changed the pictures on the top and bottom frames and added a painting of my initials for the middle frame.
